Financial Planning

Most people need a general financial strategy process. If you have general goals such as college funding, estate planning or retirement planning, we have a simple process to help guide you toward your goals. We also help business owners in many financial decisions including funding a buy-sell agreement or helping balance insurance and investments as your personal net worth increases.

The Process

To connect your dreams with the right financial decisions, you need a plan. At Five Nine Wealth Management, we guide our clients through the entire financial planning process. Each of the following areas is comprehensive and included in our fee-based planning. We like to get to know our clients to understand what is truly important to them. We ask questions and then we listen to what you are saying, which lays the critical foundation for our lasting relationship.

Step 1:

Gather the facts and learn what makes you unique.

In the first step of the financial planning process, we focus entirely on you, your dreams and your challenges. During the first meeting, we will ask several questions focused on the dreams and goals you have for the future and identify the challenges you currently face and may experience along the way. We then fully explore the facts about your current circumstances - everything from your income taxes to your savings, investments and insurance to the professional relationships you already have and more.

Step 2:

Design the Financial Plan.

Using our team of professionals we create a written analysis of your financial life. We show you where you are, where you might be heading and identify key “what if?” scenarios. We evaluate your current situation and we offer solutions and suggestions on how to address your goals more effectively.

Step 3:

Present the Financial Plan and the Implementation Action Plan.

In your next appointment, we will present your financial plan and review our recommendations, explaining how we arrived at the results. We then provide an Implementation Action Plan. If you choose to also implement your Financial Plan with us, we would then focus on helping you to take the actions needed to help move your financial plan forward. This is a separate and distinct service from the completion of your Financial Plan.

Step 4:

Updates and Reviews.

We would offer to help monitor your progress on an ongoing basis, through periodic reviews. Every year, there will be changes in your life, tax laws and the economic environment. Keeping your financial plan tuned to these changes helps you stay on track. You are under no obligation to renew our financial planning process each year. Subsequent renewals and reviews are separate and distinct services from the completion of each financial plan and may be subject to additional fees.
